Hunting Season: Dove hunting at Los Chanares is open year round (Except April and May*). The skies are filled with doves 365 days a year, with the most popular time being the summer months of January, February and March. During this period, hunters enjoy breathtaking views of the sunflower fields, and return from shooting grounds for a refreshing swim in the pool or a revitalizing dip in the Jacuzzi.

*In April and May, Los Chanares closes for the rainy season. Travel to Cordoba during these months is not advised due to the heavy rainfall.

Species: Los Chanares offers high volume dove hunting only. Accommodation: Los Chanares hosts 10 luxurious suites with double occupancy and private bathrooms. The accommodation and service at this lodge are equal, if not better than many 5 star hoteliers. From the Argentine Asado (bbq) lunches to the delicious dove nuggets, it doesn’t get any better.

How to get there: The best way to reach this lodge is to book a short flight (Less than 1.5 hours) to Cordoba through Buenos Aires (or contact us to book it for you). It is not uncommon to feel weary or jet lagged after a long flight from your home country. For instance, we recommend that you overnight in Buenos Aires before you fly to Cordoba. In any case, our team is set to arrange everything to meet your specific requirements.

Typical Itinerary:

• Day 1: You will be picked up at the airport in Cordoba and escorted to the hunting lodge. After a mouth-watering meal, you will head to the field where you meet your bird boy and start hunting doves until your shoulders are sore! (Warning! Shoulder Pads and Leather gloves are a MUST to avoid blisters). For your convenience, you will be provided with a full Argentina Dove Hunting checklist before your departure by Huntourage.com. 
• Days 2 & 3 start with wake up calls early in the morning and a hearty breakfast. It won’t be long before you start hunting doves until lunchtime. After a true Argentinean Asado (bbq), you will have a short siesta and head back to a different shooting stand where your afternoon shoot begins. A few hours later, you will return to the lodge, and there is no better place to share memories than around the campfire.
• Day 4: After your morning dove shoot, you will complete your final payments and drive to Cordoba airport after a farewell Argentinean lunch
