Area: This part of the United Kingdom is famed for having some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, but one of the hidden gems in this area is the phenomenal goose hunting.
Hunting Season: Goose hunting is awesome from the 1st of October until the end of January!
Species: This hunt is mainly for Pink Footed Geese in the morning. Greylag geese may be shot as well. And evening flights for Eurasian Wigeon, Teal, Mallard, Snipe and Eurasian Woodcocks are availble to supplement the morning hunt for geese.
Accommodation: To ensure good quality of hunting, a maximum of 8 hunters are allowed on this hunt with preferable groups of 6. You will be lodged in a three or four stars hotel close to the hunting area.
How to get there: The hunting area is a short 20 minutes drive away from Aberdeen airport. The best way to get there is to book a flight to Aberdeen where you will be met by Huntourage.com representatives and transferred to the hunting lodge.
Typical Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Aberdeen airport - transfer to hotel
Days 2, 3 & 4: Full days of goose hunting in the mornings followed by an evening duck flight.
*Mid-day woodcock hunts may be added at an extra charge of £125 to £300 per day depending on the hunting area.
Day 5: Early Breakfast - Transfer to airport to catch your return flight
