Huntourage.com brings you some of the finest woodcock, snipe and duck hunting grounds in the UK. A region of outstanding natural beauty; this ground is un-shot for over 25 years! We feel lucky to have obtained this gem exclusively… It is an island off the northwest coast of Wales where the upland hunter will fall in love! This destination is hand picked by our hunting experts for the true hunter that values the chase of woodcock and snipe over great working dogs. There are no limits for hunting in this area. You can expect around 100 lifts/day between woodcock, snipe and ducks. Hunters have been able to shoot between 45 and 50 mixed birds per day on average. However, keep in mind that success depends on your shooting capabilities, your ability to walk and the hunting season itself as you will be hunting 100% wild birds. You will be mainly chasing Woodcock, Snipe and Ducks (Mallard, Teal & Widgeon). Other species including Pheasants, Hares, Grey Lag and Canadian Geese can also be encountered during your hunt.

Area: This beautiful Island is full of wonderful cover, open reeds and wetland areas, which Woodcock and snipe love to rest up in during the daytime.
Hunting Season: Hunting in this Welsh island generally takes place from mid November until the end of January.
Species: Woodcock, Snipe, Ducks, Geese, Pheasants and Grouse can all be hunted in this region making it one of the finest mixed bag hunting programs that UK has to offer.
Accommodation: To ensure good quality of hunting, a maximum of 8 hunters are allowed on this hunt. You will be lodged in a comfortable hotel close to the hunting area based on double occupancy. *Single occupancy lodging is also available upon request at an extra charge.
How to get there: This hunting area is 90 miles away from Manchester. The best way to get there is to book a flight to Manchester airport where you will be met and transferred to the hunting area.
